Christmas in Rural Illinois
The town where I grew up is fairly small, but there are still lots of people there who enjoy decorating their lawns before Christmas. Some of them are obviously better than others, but even the bad ones can be fairly unique. This year, there was a clear winner.
The setup is fairly simple: a couple 'reindeer' pulling a plastic santa. Unfortunately, the reindeer do not really radiate Christmas cheer. (warning: graphic images!)

A closer look at the reindeer reveals that they are actually saw-horses with deer skulls as heads. The guy who set this up must have gone hunting in the fall and wanted to show off his catch:

It doesn't really look like the hunter considered taxidermy necessary. The eyes are still in the skull, and the hide is resting loosely over the bone. It's just not very pretty, and not something you want to see at Christmas. I recommend sticking to things that don't induce vomiting.
